Full System & Parts Warranty

Warranty on all pre-built laptops is provided by the manufacturer. Custom built laptops are considered full systems for warranty purposes.

Computer components have a one-year in-house warranty against manufacturer defect unless otherwise specified.

Unless otherwise specified, OEM CPUs have a 30-day warranty against manufacturer defect.

Product warranties begin on the original invoice date, and parts swapped under warranty do not extend the warranty period.

Physical damage to components, accessories, and packaging void warranty.

Manufacturer warranties that are longer than our in-store warranty must be processed by the customer after one year.

No warranty on software and/or hardware incompatibilities.

Damage caused by spyware, viruses, power surges, and improper use of any component in the system voids all warranties.

All parts returned as defective will be tested and then bad parts will be swapped or returned to the manufacturer for repair. Any part swapped under warranty must be accompanied by its original packaging and all documentation, software and accessories. Labor time used to determine a product is not defective is billable at $60 per hour.

We do not guarantee any upgrade capability on any motherboard.

Pacific Solutions is not responsible for any data lost during a repair, upgrade, install and system build.

All warranties are in store only. Any onsite work is extra.

If product being swapped under warranty has been discontinued, we will return the merchandise to our suppliers for exchange. We will expedite returns to manufacturers but have no control over the manufacturers turn-around time.
Defective CTL monitors exchanged for new only within 30 days of purchase date. All others subject to repair.

Labor Warranty

Upgrade & Repair Labor: 90-day warranty.

Full System Assembly Labor: 1-year warranty.
Bare Bones Assembly Labor: No labor warranty.
Product Returns
-
No refunds after 10 days. After 10 days, only defective products will be replaced, not exchanged or returned for credit.

A 20% re-stocking charge will apply to full system returns.

A 10% re-stocking charge will apply to credit card returns and non-defective shrink-wrapped or sealed products that have been opened. Credit card customers may avoid the re-stocking fee on returns by taking store credit.

No returns on physically damaged parts, accessories, and packaging.

No returns on CPU’s, software, books, or special order items.

Purchases made by check will be credited after seven days or when the check has cleared our bank.

Purchases made by credit card will be credited to the same credit card minus the restock fee above. You may avoid the restock fee by taking store credit.

Purchases made by cash will be reimbursed in cash or store credit.

All returns must be accompanied by a receipt, be in its original packaging, and come with all documentation, drivers, and accessories.

The product must be returned in its original condition, free of damages or alterations that mar the product. Food & coffee stains on packaging, torn & written on manual pages, and smashed boxes all constitute damage.
Full System Purchases

Once an order is placed, Full System Purchases are considered FINAL and all standard return policies apply.

Customers must pay half of the system price at the time a build is ordered. The balance is due when completed.

Customer will receive all original manuals and software with the system.

Pacific Solutions does not warranty software. It is the customer’s responsibility to learn to use what they buy.

The labor warranty is void if the warranty seal is broken.
